The pores in the grout allow minute particles to lodge themselves deep into your flooring. This provides a perfect feeding ground for bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

Solaro Restoration Solutions uses the best product(s) and equipment to remove dirt, soil, bacteria, fungi and viruses from the tile and grout. Including surfaces smooth, rough and uneven.

One such tool uses a rotary arm that spins to create a structural removal process with a split vacuum for even water pick up. The unique airflow system works hand and hand with our truck mount equipment. Allowing us to blast away and suck up all the gross!

Tile & Grout Cleaning, is my tooth brush good enough?
Tile & Grout Sealing

Existing tile will occasionally need a reapplication of grout sealer. A highly trafficked floor will need grout sealer applied more frequently than other types of tile applications, such as wall tile.

The best test is simple: place a few drops of water in your palm, then sprinkle that water at various places around the tile field. Grout areas that soak in water immediately need resealing. Areas where the water beads up and stands on the grout need no resealing. The sealant on tile and grout should be checked every year. However, sealing of the tile and grout for ceramic should happen every 1-2 years.

Cleaning and sealing stamped colored concrete should be done on a regular basis, just like any other home maintenance.

The frequency will depend on how high the traffic area is to cars, foot traffic, and any chemicals the concrete is exposed to.  Solaro Restoration Solutions recommends resealing every 2-3 years.  If you wait longer you will notice erosion on the concrete.  Keeping a fresh coat of sealer will protect the concrete and keep the color as vibrant as the day it was installed.
